The Conservative Yeshiva teaches Jews of all backgrounds the skills for studying Jewish texts in a supportive religious community. Our goal is to give students the ability and the desire to continue Jewish learning and practice throughout their lives.
The CY offers a synthesis of traditional and critical methods, allowing Jewish texts and tradition to encounter social change and modern scholarship. The curriculum focuses on classical Jewish subjects, including Talmud, Midrash and Halakha.
The CY is housed in the beautiful Fuchsberg Center of the United Synagogue in the heart of Jerusalem. It has earned a reputation for a learned and supportive faculty, highly motivated students, in-depth learning and a welcoming community where men and women from all streams of Judaism learn and pray together.
The CY is a project of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, supported by the Jewish Agency and MASA and under the academic auspices of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
