The Conservative Yeshiva (CY) and Hadassah Academic College Jerusalem (HAC) have joined to create Discover Jerusalem: an Accredited Semester, a unique learning experience. In the classroom and around the city, students will gain a new level of understanding about Judaism and Jerusalem.

The program is great for college juniors (and seniors and graduate students) who are interested in: Jewish studies/religious studies, Middle East/Israel studies, modern languages, history, archeology and literature. In the CY's Beit Midrash students will acquire or boost text skills through intensive study - chevruta (study with a learning partner) and shiur (seminar class with teacher). The HAC classes will introduce students to new perspectives for understanding Israel and the Middle East.

The language of instruction is English.
Hebrew prerequisite – a year of college Hebrew or the equivalent (e.g., completed Ulpan Aleph), since texts at the CY will be learned in the original.
